A day of "full immersion" of the largest stone pine forest in Italy, and among the largest in Europe: the Alevè forest ("Elvou" in Occitan language) ! In a loop tour we will discover its characteristics, history, and what close relationship there is between the forest and the animals that inhabit it. Not to mention the balsamic scent of resin, which in the Alevè forest is among the most powerful you can smell!

- Route: loop tour from Alboin to Secco Lake (possibility of continuing to the Bagnour Refuge adding about 1 hour total hike there and back).
- Departure and return: Alboin (Casteldelfino)
- Height difference: about 700 m
- Difficulty: E
- Meet: 9:30 a.m. in Casteldelfino
- Return to cars: 4:30 p.m. approx.
Materials needed: hiking boots, poles (recommended), layered clothing (T-shirt, fleece, windbreaker, long pants, light gloves, beanie), water bottle, sunglasses, sunscreen, packed lunch
